The Veldboom website (www.veldboom.nl) processes privacy-sensitive data, in other words personal data. Veldboom is responsible for the processing of this data and considers careful handling of personal data very important.

In our processing we comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and for what purpose we use this data.

3. PERSONAL DATA

What is personal data? Personal data is data that relates directly to a person, or information that can be traced back to a person. Examples of personal data are: name, address, place of residence, telephone number, postcode, house number, race, religion, health, etc.

Not all of this data is relevant to your website visit or your collaboration with Veldboom. We ask you to only provide personal data that you consider necessary for our collaboration.

4. PURPOSES

Veldboom collects personal data via www.veldboom.nl in a number of ways:

The Veldboom website contains a number of forms. In these forms we ask for various personal data.

  • General contact form.

In the general contact form we ask for:

  • Your email address,
  • Your name,
  • Your telephone number,
  • A message.

With the contact form you can ask us questions or request one of our services. We use the data collected with the contact form to answer your question, by email or by telephone.

The data you enter is stored by us for a limited time. In case of follow-up questions we can easily access this data while it is still in our system. We can also use the questions and answers to train our employees to handle questions better. We store the submitted data for a maximum of six months after you entered it.

  • NEWSLETTER

On the website you can subscribe to the Veldboom newsletter. This newsletter contains information about the products and services of Veldboom. We send the newsletter with the email program Mailchimp. You can subscribe by going to the bottom of any web page and entering your email address under the heading ‘subscribe to newsletter’.

Your email address is then added to the list to which we send the Veldboom newsletter. Every newsletter we send contains a button with which you can unsubscribe. After you click this button, your email address is labelled ‘unsubscribed’ and you will no longer receive the newsletter. We do keep your email address for 3 months after you have unsubscribed, so that we still have access to the statistics we have collected, for example the reason why you no longer wish to receive the newsletter. We use these statistics to improve our newsletter.

  • GOOGLE ANALYTICS

The Veldboom website uses Google Analytics. We use this tool to collect anonymous, analytical data about our website visitors. We use these website statistics to learn from our visitors and to adapt our products and services accordingly. The data we collect is anonymous; we cannot use this information to find out who the people behind the data are.

The collected information is stored in Google data centres. Data centre locations: https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/index.html. We have made agreements with Google about the processing of this data by means of a data processing agreement. Google is not permitted to use this data for other purposes. 5. PROVISION TO THIRD PARTIES

We only provide your personal data to third parties (companies or institutions) if we are legally obliged to do so, for example when the police demand this in the event of a suspected crime.

Veldboom works with sub-processors, for example our website administrator. The partners we work with may see your personal data or that of your customers. Working with these sub-processors is essential to our services. To ensure that these sub-processors handle this data correctly, Veldboom has concluded so-called data processing agreements with its suppliers.

The Veldboom website contains links to social media pages. If you click on these links, these social media providers may collect personal data. This statement only applies to www.veldboom.nl. We cannot guarantee that other parties handle your personal data carefully.

Your data is not provided to parties outside the European Union.

6. ACCESS, CHANGE OR DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

Veldboom does not keep your personal data longer than necessary for our services. Once this data is no longer necessary, we delete it.

Veldboom takes measures to protect personal data.

  • After receipt, personal data is stored on a protected system that is only accessible to Veldboom employees.
  • Veldboom staff treat personal data confidentially.
  • Veldboom uses an SSL certificate (secure socket layer).
  • Veldboom records all requests for personal data.

Do you have a complaint about the way Veldboom handles your privacy? Please contact us first. We will listen to and handle your complaint.
